Aymen Kabir
Harvard College Class of 2021, Neuroscience and Global Health and Health Policy
Aymen Kabir is a student in the class of 2021 at Harvard College. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, and hopes to live there in the future. He is currently studying neuroscience and global health and health policy, and eventually wants to cultivate a career in medical entrepreneurship. One of his most notable accomplishments includes raising and managing the funds for Harvard's annual Black Health Matters conference which has over 400 attendees. Another accomplishments was leading a team of students to create a database of over 1700 neuroscience companies with detailed information about each company. Some of his favorite hobbies include basketball and gaming and a fun fact about him is that he speaks a language (Harari) from Ethiopia that has no written language.
Accomplishments on the ASPT:
Led a team to create the Neurodatabase
Helped create an outline for the first few drafts of the Neuroreport
Conducted market research and market sizing of the bone marrow in China for RMS's MarrowMiner
Wrote several 1 pagers on specific competitors and the OPO transport chain of bone marrow
Helped organize and write breakout sessions for the MIT BrainMind summit
Created a powerpoint presentation for the market validity of the MarrowMiner
Accomplishments since the ASPT:
Individual research paper on the racial disparities with COVID
Producing films with hopes of creating a production company, G101 Productions, with my friends
