Jonathan Arnold
Stanford University Class of 2023, Undeclared
Jonathan is a student in the class of 2023 at Stanford University. He wants to study something in the social sciences that allows him to do impactful work on an international level. His work at BrainMind allows him to explore and learn more about topics that fascinate him, like social entrepreneurship, healthcare, and neuroscience (specifically neuroethics). Born and raised in Miami, he’s proud to say that he is a Latinx first-generation college student who’s trying to make his mark. He’s worked in research in varied areas like design, communications, and psychology, all while working on-campus jobs that allow him to learn new skills and support his education. This research included projects like developing educational tools for K12 curricula on emerging technologies like blockchain, conducting data analysis on results from political deliberations, and more. Before his college career, he spent time working with political organizations in his school and community while also working in classrooms with students with developmental disorders. He speaks Spanish and a bit of French, and loves to hike and write in his free time.
