Lenae Joe
Stanford University Class of 2024, Human Biology
Lenae Joe is a student in Stanford University’s class of 2024, hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada and studying human biology. She aspires to improve access to health education and quality health care for underserved and diverse communities. Her passion for medicine, education, and social entrepreneurship led her to create a cancer survivorship program that helps patients navigate the challenging treatment and recovery process, and to teach emergency medicine to high schoolers from low-resourced regions in the Bay Area. She has clinical experience working as a dental assistant and volunteering at COVID-19 vaccination sites throughout the Las Vegas valley and at hospitals locally and abroad. Lenae hopes to further explore the field of science and entrepreneurship and to pursue meaningful work in healthcare.
