Lyna Kim
Stanford University Class of 2023, Computer Science and Management Science and Engineering
Lyna Kim is a student in the class of 2023, hailing from Los Angeles, CA, and currently attending Stanford University majoring in Computer Science and Management Science and Engineering. She is passionate in the intersection of machine learning, public policy, and the health or environment, hoping to guide effective economic policy creation through complex quantitative models. One day, she hopes to combine her experiences in academia as a computer vision researcher on rice paddy mapping for methane emission tracking in the Jackson Lab and the founder of the social impact-oriented Global Research Consulting organization on campus to create tangible, direct change in the environmental space. As an avid singer, she loves to sing shower songs while on long hikes to either find the newest addition to her rock collection or the nearest waterfall to jump into.
