Maria DiMartinis
Harvard College Class of 2021, Economics
Maria in the class of 2021 at Harvard concentrating in Economics with a secondary in Human Evolutionary Biology. She is interested in finance and business development for life science companies that can positively impact global health, with the goal of one day founding her own biotech company. She became interested in entrepreneurship while developing a customer database to streamline sales at Surgical Specialties, a Massachusetts-based medical device company. On campus, Maria is the captain of Harvard’s Varsity Women’s Soccer team and volunteers at the only student-run homeless shelter in the country. Born and raised in the Boston area, Maria was a nationally ranked high school athlete and hopes to bring her competitor’s edge to build and develop life-saving technologies in the future.
